36 years waiting

 

The last time the Peru's national soccer team qualified for a World Cup was 36 years ago. Their ticket to the 2018 World Cup in Russia was a historic an unprecedented event for new generations of Peruvians, many of whom traveled to Russia to fervently cheer on their team, while making their culture visible to the world.
